Ingredients for 4 appetizer or
2 entrée servings:

2 hot dog rolls, carefully trimmed of crust, and cut into two pieces each

2 celery stalks cut into fine dice

2 carrots cut into fine dice

4 Buffalo Chicken Sausages, hot


Lite Blue Cheese Dip

1 cup + 2 tablespoons (9 ounces) Greek style nonfat yogurt

1 ounce (2 tablespoons) blue cheese

salt, optional, to taste

granulated garlic, optional, to taste


Buffalo Chicken Sausage Crunchies

Our Buffalo Chicken Sausages give you the flavor of the finest quality chicken meat covered with cayenne pepper sauce, without the grease of crunchy fried chicken skin. If you want some healthier forms of crunch to go with your Buffalo Chicken sausage, here they are!

Serve Doc’s Amazing Buffalo Chicken Sausages in crunchy toasted hot dog buns. Dress them up with crunchy pieces of celery and carrot, and with some of the Lite Blue Cheese Dip. This is a way to eat Buffalo Chicken without mess and without utensils. Party on with Buffalo Chicken Crunchies!

Instructions

Spray the outside of the rolls with nonstick cooking spray, and toast all sides of the roll in a medium-hot nonstick skillet.

Place hot sausages in each roll, and top with the lite Blue Cheese Dip and diced carrots and celery.

Bite into these “crunchies” and crunch away!

Instructions for Blue Cheese Dip

Blend the blue cheese into the yogurt using a food processor or an immersion blender. Season as desired with salt and granulated garlic.

Serve Doc’s Amazing Buffalo Chicken Sausage as an appetizer with this Lite Blue Cheese Dip and celery and carrot sticks. For example, serve the dip with hot Buffalo Chicken sausage on skewers or cut into pieces and served with toothpicks.
